Hetkinen Veggie Candle 260ml

Our veggie candle is more than just a candle – it is like a small fireplace. Doing it the Hetkinen way, there is of course a wooden wick in the candle. From the tree species, we decided to use Finnish aspen as the wick of the candle. Aspen burns with a beautiful, silent, and safe flame. Wooden wick requires a bit more from the user than a normal wick candle. When you remember to trim the black part away from the wick between burns, you will always have a candle that burns beautifully. The vegetable wax in the candle contains spruce resin that burns cleanly and without emissions. Between using the candle, the melted wax creates beautiful layers in the candle, just like annual rings in a tree. Biofilia An artless, bright greenery. Peppermint Essential Oil Peppermint’s fresh and cooling scent is familiar to many. It stimulates the mind, and alleviates stress, depression, and fatigue. The refreshing nature of peppermint also aids concentration. Organic Lemon Essential Oil The fresh and clean scent of lemon invigorates you and enhances productivity. Lemon is beneficial for digestion and circulation. It also aids itchy or irritated skin and can help combat cellulite. Eucalyptus Essential Oil Essential oil of eucalyptus carries a fresh minty and spicy camphor scent. The oil also functions as an antiseptic, and will strengthen and invigorate a tired mind. The Hetkinen candle gives off notes of pine, earthy vetiver, and homely rosemary. Ingredients non-gmo rapeseed wax, non-gmo soy wax, pine needle extract, pine wood extract, pine essential oil, vetiver essential oil, rosemary essential oil Pine Extract The fine, forest-scented oil extract is obtained as a by-product from needles and cones left over from forest care. A sniff of resin extract immediately creates the feeling of freshness and clarity familiar from forest walks. Pine extract refreshes and strengthens against fatigue and increases positivity and renewed vitality. Pine Essential Oil The essential oil of pine brings the fresh scent of a forest into the product. It opens and strengthens your airways. Pine oil also enhances blood circulation and reduces muscle pain, as well as arthritic symptoms. Resin scented pine oil is known to increase positive traits such as durability, persistence and self-confidence. Vetiver Essential Oil Vetiver essential oil is earthy and green. It is recommended after physical exercise or when experiencing fatigue. Rosemary Essential Oil Rosemary oil smells spicy fresh and stimulates blood circulation. Smoke Sauna A sensual, smoky atmosphere. The oil is steam distilled from a fragrant evergreen tree that thrives in the remote forests. Fir oil improves circulation and is naturally antiseptic. Pine Tar Tar is a dark, thick, and viscous liquid pyrolyzed in high heat from a resinous pine. Tar as a flavouring has a recognisable smell and taste. Tar has been an important substance in the Finnish folk healing. Juniper Essential Oil Juniper is one of the best known traditional medicinal plants of Finland. Essential oil is made from its ripe, black berries. Juniper berry oil provides a grounding and calming effect that can help balance emotions. Mona defines herself as “a mother of two children, feminist, vegetarian, animal and nature lover,” as well as being an activist against deforestation. The company drives inspiration from the Finnish forests and trees. The design approach is careful and minimalist. Everything is made in harmony with the nature. Hetkinen’s mission is to bring people closer to nature in their busy everyday lives via high-quality product innovations. All of Hetkinen’s products are gender-neutral, vegan, and manufactured in Finland at the company’s own factory. Hetkinen uses Finnish pine heartwood for their jars and containers. It takes a pine tree 40 years to begin to produce heartwood, so it is used sparingly & respectfully, and as such, knots or stains in the wood are not discarded. Pine heartwood is used for it’s superior resistance to rot, antibacterial properties, and because it doesn’t absorb moisture.
